The window frame is the credibility

A bare shell can look like a design choice. A window with a title bar looks like something that happened on a machine, and that small difference makes a build log feel documented rather than decorated.

It also gives the deck a frame that survives being reposted. When the slide gets screenshotted into somebody else's story, the window is still obviously a terminal, so the context travels with it.

Good subjects for a windowed session

Release notes, migrations, debugging sessions and setup guides all work. Anything with a before and an after works especially well, because the window can show the state changing across slides while the frame stays put.

Put your brand in the title bar and leave the session itself clean. Readers forgive a logo on the chrome, and they get annoyed when the content area is decorated.

Keep the session narrow. Wrapped lines break the illusion of a real window.
