Is the API, CLI, and MCP server included or an add-on?

They come with every plan, Free included. One API key covers the REST API, the CLI, the SDK and the MCP server, so you can hand publishing over to an agent on any tier.

Can I switch plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, up or down, from your billing settings. An upgrade takes effect immediately, so the bigger limits are there the moment you pay. A downgrade waits until the period you already paid for has run out.

What is the refund policy?

You have 14 days from the charge to ask for a refund, on any paid plan, you just have to email us. During the trial there is nothing to refund, because cancelling stops the charge from happening at all.

What happens to my media if I cancel or downgrade?

Nothing for 60 days. Your files stay where they are after the paid period ends, so you have time to download them or resubscribe and pick up where you left off. Once those 60 days pass we delete them. Media on the Free plan is temporary: it lives long enough to get your post published, then goes.

What does yearly billing change?

Just the invoice. One payment for the year instead of twelve, and it works out cheaper than paying monthly. The plan you get is the same.

Who handles the payment?

Accepted Answer

Paddle does. They are the merchant of record, so the card goes to them, they calculate the VAT or sales tax for your country and they send you the invoice. We never see your card number.

Question 7

Do I need a card to try PublishQ?

Not for the Free plan. An email address is enough to sign up, connect your accounts and schedule your first post. You only need a card to start a trial on a paid plan.
