Panorama carousel generator

A panorama carousel slices a single wide photograph across the whole deck, so swiping pans across the picture instead of jumping between frames. It is the one carousel format that only makes sense as a carousel, which is why people keep swiping to see where it ends.

One photo is cut across every slide, so swiping pans the picture. Zoom enlarges the photo before it is cut, then the two position sliders choose the part the deck covers. The stock photo is a placeholder until you add your own.

5 slides is over the limit on Bluesky (4) and X (Twitter) (4). Those posts get rejected rather than trimmed, so hide or remove some, or split the carousel across more than one post.

This carousel lives in this browser. An account keeps it.

Everything you have typed here is stored on this device only, so it is gone the moment you clear your browser or switch to your phone. With a PublishQ account it belongs to you instead:

  • Your carousels are saved, so you can come back and edit them.
  • The images you upload stay in your media library.
  • Your logo is stored once and reused on every carousel.
  • Brand name, handle, and colours stop being retyped.
  • Publish straight to every social account you connect — no downloading, no second tab.

Why a panned photo holds a swipe

The cut edge is a promise. When a slide ends mid picture, the reader knows there is more of it, and swiping feels like moving a camera rather than turning a page.

It also makes the deck length obvious in a good way. The picture is clearly going somewhere, so a nine slide panorama gets finished more often than nine unrelated graphics do.

Choosing and framing the photo

Wide, horizontal images with something happening across them work best: a skyline, a coastline, a long table, a workshop. A portrait photo has nothing to pan across and ends up cropped to nothing.

The zoom and vertical position controls decide what survives the crop, so set those before writing the words. Hiding the cover or the closing slide re slices the picture automatically, and the deck stays seamless.

Keep the type light. Every slide carries a piece of one image, and a headline on each frame competes with the thing the reader came to look at.

Before you export

  • Use a wide photo. Anything close to square has nothing to pan across.
  • Set the zoom and vertical position before writing, since both change the crop.
  • Put text on a few slides rather than all of them.
  • Post the deck in order and never as single images. The panorama is the whole point.

This tool is free, forever. No accounts, no paywalls, no catch.

Everything you need to know about Panorama carousel generator from PublishQ

One wide photograph cut across every slide of a carousel. Swiping moves along the picture, so the deck reads as a single continuous image rather than separate frames.
The wider the better. The tool lays your image out across the number of visible slides, so a broad horizontal shot keeps detail while a near square one gets stretched thin.
The picture is re sliced for the new count automatically, so the panorama stays seamless without you re cropping anything.
Yes, as long as the slides go up in order in one post. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Threads all keep the order you upload.
Yes. A stock panorama is loaded by default so you can see how the slicing works, and you can replace it whenever you like.

Alexandro - Founder
PublishQ

— me 👋

Hi, I'm Alexandro 👋

I left my Software Engineer role at Amazon to build tools that solve real problems — the kind big companies ignore because they read spreadsheets instead of using their own products.

I was spending over an hour daily just scheduling 2 shorts across 3 platforms — logging in, reformatting, uploading one by one. That felt broken. So I built PublishQPublishQ . Now I create 4 shorts in 3 minutes and schedule them to 4 platforms in under 30 seconds.

PublishQ is bootstrapped. No investors, no vanity metrics. I build what actually helps you — because I use it every day myself.

Thank you,

Alexandro
