Sound needs a picture to travel in a feed

Audio does badly in feeds because nobody presses play. A waveform with the words printed under it gets the quote across silently, and the reader still understands that it came from a recording.

The advancing playhead adds the thing a static quote card lacks. Each slide is further into the clip, so the deck has a direction even though nothing is actually playing.

Turning a clip into slides

Pick one moment of two or three sentences and break it across slides at the natural pauses. Cutting mid clause reads badly, because the reader hears the sentence in their head as they swipe.

Name the show and the guest once, on the opening slide. Repeating it on every frame eats the room the quote needs, and one clear attribution is enough for anybody who wants to find the episode.

Break the quote at natural pauses rather than at fixed word counts.
Keep one sentence per slide so the pacing matches speech.
