Handmade slides read as a person, not a campaign

Tape, paper and a crooked angle carry a signal that no amount of good typography can fake: somebody made this by hand. For lifestyle, wellness and creative accounts that signal is worth more than polish.

Because each slide sits at a new angle, the deck has visual variety without needing different layouts. The reader gets the sense of turning pages in a book rather than clicking through a deck.

Where the scrapbook look fits

Soft sells, routines, reading lists, recipes, gratitude posts and slow announcements. Anything that would look pushy in a hard edged layout softens here.

It fits data and pricing badly. A chart taped to a page looks like a joke, so keep numbers on a cleaner template and use this for the human parts.

Before you export

Let the copy be warmer than usual. The layout is already informal, so a stiff sentence clashes.
Keep two tape colours across the deck rather than a new one per slide.
Use short lines. Taped paper has less usable room than a full slide.
Close with a gentle ask instead of a hard call to action.
