The white border is the whole trick

Feeds are edge to edge images. A framed print interrupts that rhythm, and the caption strip under the frame gives words a home instead of laying them over the picture.

It also flatters ordinary photos. A snapshot inside an instant frame reads as intentional, which is why the format suits recaps built from whatever was on your phone.

Captions that sound handwritten

Write the caption the way you would actually label a print: short, specific, a bit dry. A date, a place, a name, the thing that happened. Marketing copy under an instant photo looks wrong immediately.

Use the deck as a sequence. Event recaps, trips, product shots, a week of work all move naturally from frame to frame, and one closing slide asking for a follow finishes it without shouting.

Before you export

Caption like a person labelling a photo, not like a brand writing an ad.
Keep captions to one line. The strip under the frame is deliberately small.
Choose photos with a clear subject, since the frame crops the edges.
Put the best frame first. It becomes the cover in the feed.
