Hidden lines make swiping the reward

Most carousels ask for a swipe and give information. This one gives the swipe itself a payoff, because a black bar disappearing feels like being let in on something.

The tension survives long decks. A reader on slide seven can still see how much is blacked out below, so there is always a visible reason to continue.

What to declassify

Things people expect to be hidden: real numbers, rates, what a client actually paid, why a project died, the internal rule nobody publishes. The format promises candour, so the content has to deliver some.

Do not redact anything you would not publish anyway. Blacked out text is not encryption and the exported image contains only what you typed, but a deck built on fake secrets reads as a bait and switch by slide three.

Before you export

Reveal something a reader could not have guessed, or the format oversells.
Keep revealed lines short so the contrast with the black bars stays sharp.
Order reveals from mild to significant.
Never black out text you would not be willing to publish.
